Who Should Attend?

This qualification is for those working in lower risk workplaces, or higher risk workplaces with a small number of staff or visitors. This qualification is open to those over 14 years of age, however only those only over 16 can act as a sole first aider within the workplace.

If, once confirmation has been received, you are in anyway unsure of what prerequisites or items you need to bring or provide, then your dedicated training manager or the trainer conducting your course will be able to confirm this with you. What are the course contents? QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) This course is designed for anyone wanting to become an accredited emergency first aider or appointed person. This qualification provides learners with skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in low-risk work environments. This qualification is for those working in lower risk workplaces, or higher risk workplaces with a small number of staff or visitors. This qualification is open to those over 14 years of age, however only those only over 16 can act as a sole first aider within the workplace. The aim of the course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to undertake the role of an emergency first aider. Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider Assess an incident Conduct a secondary survey Manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally Manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally Recognise and assist a casu.

Welcome to The Training Centre in Stoke-on-Trent! Getting here is a breeze. If youre coming from the town centre, simply head southeast on Glebe Street towards Church Street, then continue onto City Road. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Leek Road. When you reach Joiners Square, take the second exit and stay on Leek Road. A left turn onto Birches Head Road followed by a right onto Redhills Road will lead you right to uslook for The Training Centre on your right. Accreditation

The Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW training course is accredited and recognized by the Health and Safety Executive HSE in the UK. Successful candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.
