Course Agenda

Provide emergency first aid at work Provide basic instruction in the use of an AED Administer first aid to a casualty with: Injuries to bones, muscles, and joints, including suspected spinal injuries Chest injuries Burns and scalds Eye injuries Sudden poisoning Anaphylactic shock Recognise the presence of major illness and provide appropriate first.

A 2 day course, 6 hours per day

Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the First Aid at Work 2 day Refresher training course, candidates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate that is valid for three years. This certificate is recognized by the Health and Safety Executive HSE and meets the requirements for workplace first aiders.

To ensure that first aid skills remain up-to-date and effective, we recommend completing an annual update of your first aid skills. This is in line with HSE recommendations and best practice. Our refresher course provides a comprehensive review of first aid techniques and procedures.

Having a valid First Aid at Work certificate demonstrates that an individual is equipped with the necessary skills to provide first aid in the workplace. This not only ensures the safety and well-being of employees, but also meets legal requirements and promotes a positive safety culture within the organization.
